“Wetland in Mantagua”

Mantagua surprises us with a unique experience with birds, in which we can enjoy a unique tour inserted in the middle of nature.

Itinerary: You will be able to visit the Wetland in Mantagua, where we will do a stealth tour, where you can at certain hours of the day observe a family of coipos, different types of garzas, taguas and tagüitas. Approaching to the beach, we can meet a great quantity of perritos, Zarapitos, Rayador, Pilpilén. In addition we will be able to enjoy the presence of Pato real, Huairavo and more birds, playing and resting between the totoras.

Between geosites and native forests we will be surprised with birdwatching and pre-incan shellfish remains. Concón and Puchuncavi invite us to enjoy a special interests tourism.

Itinerary: Visit at Concon’s wetland, a stealth tour to observe the birds that habit this ecosystem. Then we arrive at the Puchuncaví Museum where we are going to visit a big amount of paleontological remains that are found here, you will know the fauna of the region, whale fossils, sharks, etc.

We continue with lunch in a typical restaurant in the area and we recognize geosites in situ between Ventana´s zone and /or Quiriyuca cliffs where we can witness the remains of different bibalves in fossils and conch shells of the Bato culture.
